Dr. Zusmanovich is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has dedicated his career to mastering the art and science of arthroscopic surgery. His focused practice allows him to deliver exceptional outcomes for athletes suffering from ACL tears, meniscus injuries, rotator cuff tears, and shoulder instability.

 

After graduating with honors from UC Santa Barbara, Dr. Zusmanovich attended medical school at the Keck School of Medicine at USC, where he earned Dean’s recognition and MSP recognition in Musculoskeletal Anatomy. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Health in Manhattan and his Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles. Dr. Zusmanovich has been published on topics from arthroplasty and joint reconstruction to hand surgery and arthroscopy.

 

While completing his fellowship in Los Angeles, Dr. Zusmanovich was the assistant team physician for the LA Galaxy, LA Angels, Anaheim Ducks, LA Sparks, and a variety of teams at Loyola Marymount University. He is an avid rugby player, a second-degree black belt in Take-Kwon Do and a 1st degree black belt in Hapkido.

 

Based on Long Island, he serves high school, college, and recreational athletes, combining cutting-edge surgical technology with a deep understanding of the physical and psychological challenges of sports injuries.

 

He is a member of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and is fluent in Russian.
